**We have an exciting role for an experienced **Territory Manager **based in **Sydney, New South Wales. **In this role, you will have responsibility for shaping and executing business plans and to achieve sales revenue and market share targets.
The Aortic and Endovenous is one of the fastest-growing businesses within Medtronic. These therapies are a critical part of the Medtronic vascular portfolio, treating patients with a broad range of conditions, including Thoracic and Abdominal Aortic disease, Superficial and Deep Venous Disease. We lead the way in the Superficial Venous markets, caring for hundreds of millions of patients globally with lifesaving and life-enhancing therapies.
**A Day in The Life
**Reporting into the Regional Sales Manager, the Territory Manager role has the responsibility to achieve sales revenue targets for **Southern NSW territory **, provide complete account management within that territory, and practice professional and effective territory management in terms of organization, technical expertise, administration, inventory management and expense planning and control.
In this role, you will:
- Achieve sales revenue and market share targets for a specified territory, by promoting our range of Aortic and Endovascular Health products and clinical service to vascular surgeons and phlebologists.
- Understand the clinical and service needs of customers and provide highest level of clinical service and technical support to customers while seeking out efficiency
- Provide best in class clinical case support to optimise clinical outcomes for each procedure
- Be well organised and practice good territory management of inventory, case support calendar, administration and expenses
- Train appropriate medical staff on case planning, product preparation, product deployment and procedure steps.
- Collaborate with other Clinical Territory Managers (CTM), Clinical Specialists (CS), Market Development Specialists (MDS), Business Development Managers (BDM), Business Manager (BM) and Marketing to develop and execute business plans
- Play a lead role in quarterly business reviews (QBR’s) for your specified territory and actively contribute to the broader state QBR
- Build an awareness and begin accessing key influencers, key hospital stakeholders and leverage relationships to execute on account strategies
- Pro-actively manage case coverage requirements, effectively engaging CSs and other CTMs where most appropriate
- Support sales activities by assisting in presentations to healthcare professionals on related educational and training topics
- Consistently set and meet quarterly performance goals
- Monitor field inventory effectively to ensure appropriate levels of inventory in each location relative to demand
- Complete cycle counts of all required field locations on time and follow up on any missing stock
- Retrieve all expiring product from field locations and return to the warehouse prior to expiry
- Travel requirement: less than 25%
**Must-Haves**
- Bachelors Degree in nursing, general science, business or similar
- Strong clinical sales experience with aortic and endovascular devices &/or in Orthopaedic,Neurovascular and Trauma
- Proven clinical setting experience in hybrid suites, angio lab and operating theatres is desirable
- Comprehensive clinical and technical knowledge including clinical papers.
- Comprehensive knowledge of account planning, territory management and forecasting
- Advanced understanding of internal workings of hospital labs/ theatres / departments e.g. purchasing, consignment, clinics, patient & implant scheduling and key influencers
- Computer literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software. Maintain a valid driver’s licence
