**Company**:
Our client is a leading food business who are no.1 in their category. Their Foodservice channel has recently undergone a transformation to become channel focused and customer centric, incorporating a digital marketing program directly targeting end users and driving product mix across their customer base. Due to natural attrition, there is an opportunity to join the high performing and well-regarded team leading the strategic growth of the independent customer channel.
**The Role**:
Reporting directly to the national Business Manager and based in Sydney, your responsibility will be taking charge of their entire food category.
Key responsibilities include:
- Growth of existing accounts by developing and maintaining strong relationship with clients
- Business development - meeting new business sales targets and nurturing of new accounts won to achieve sustainable growth.
- Develop both short
- and long-term strategies for continued success.
- Drive activations with independent’s
- Manager relationship with key distributors
**Background**:
- Strong account/territory management experience within the independent grocery Channel
- Strong communication skills.
- Can do and positive attitude.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Ambitious, target driven and a desire to progress into future management roles.
