**About the Role**

As the National Operations Manager - eCom Fleet, you will be responsible for the delivery of exceptional customer experiences by management and review of operational compliance of transport providers according to their contracted KPI’s.

This role has the responsibility of owning the day-to-day management of Woolworths Online deliveries across Australia and will require a logical thinker with a customer first attitude. The role will engage with a range of internal (e.g. store leadership & operational teams, IT, as well as our in-house logistics team) and external stakeholders (e.g. customers & 3PL carriers) to deliver exceptional customer experiences in the most effective and efficient method.

**What You’ll Do:
- Review and improve delivery KPI’s within your direct control and influence in conjunction with store and state operational teams
- Management and support of Third Party Logistics carriers to ensure contract compliance, accountability to Woolworths policies and procedures
- Work with State Operations teams and transport to manage capacity and volume across stores and make recommendations for future planning;
- Seasonal Planning/event - Support and/or lead the planning and execution of key seasonal and promotional events with our Third Party Logistics carriers
- Drive & support the development & execution of new & existing last mile business strategies to build best in class last mile business capabilities in line with the growth ambitions;
- Support capability analysis to identify growth opportunities within current network and future network and to determine our last mile capabilities, financial and commercial capacity to invest in and manage future pipelines of activity;
- Develop and drive new strategies to help guide cross functional teams in execution;
- Support the development and presentation of business cases for network & fleet opportunities and present financial data to support the review and approval process, as required;
- Engage and collaborate with cross functional partners in WooliesX and Woolworths group gain alignment on initiatives and support to develop & deliver last mile strategies;

**Who we’re looking for
- Prior experience leading large Logistics / Operations, preferably in a highly matrixed and complex retail or FMCG organisation
- Strong leadership experience in leading teams in a high paced, dynamic environment
- Prior experience leading Online teams and initiatives, preferred but not required
- Understanding of Store / Retail Operations
- Naturally curious with a warm and engaging leadership style
- Autonomous self starter with a proven track record of delivering outcomes
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Proven change management experience

Please note that aligned to our stores and CFCs operating evenings and weekends, there may be times you are required to work outside of standard hours in a support capacity.**
