**The Role**
The primary purpose of this role is to provide quality Risk and Protection data and insights to Endeavour Business Leaders to enable them to effectively develop initiatives and strategies to minimise business losses (shrinkage), and mitigate against risks of criminal activity and incidents impacting team member wellbeing.
- Collaborate with the Endeavour Data and Analytics Team to develop a suite of fit-for-purpose Loss Prevention / Shrinkage reports that identify exception based, actionable insights for Operations Leaders and other business leaders.
- Collaborate with Endeavour Care & Wellbeing and Endeavour Data and Analytics teams to produce fit-for-purpose critical incident reporting and insights that impact team member wellbeing and physical assets in Endeavour premises.
- In consultation with Head of Risk & Protection - Operations, provide regular Risk & Protection reporting packs to Senior Leaders in Endeavour as required.
- In consultation with Head of Risk & Protection - Operations, engage with stakeholders (Operations Leaders, Finance Team, Group Optimisation Team) to prepare budgets, forecasts and progress updates relating to the Risk & Protection function
- Lead the internal transaction fraud function in Risk & Protection team ensuring appropriate resource deployment on a cost - benefit basis
**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Lead, Develop & implement Risk & Protection strategies, based on data and insight opportunities to drive business improvement and cost savings.
- “Owner” of Risk and Protection data.
- Engage stakeholders (Operations Leaders, Finance Team, Group Optimisation Team) to prepare Stockloss (shrinkage) budgets at a business and “operations hierarchy” level, taking account of strategic initiatives and business targets
- Engage with stakeholders (Operations Leaders and Risk & Protection colleagues) to prepare budgets for function related expenses as required.
- Provide fit-for-purpose critical incident reporting and insights that impact team member wellbeing and physical assets in Endeavour premises. Gain feedback and modify as appropriate.
- Gain input from Risk and Protection colleagues and produce regular Endeavour Leadership Team updates (monthly / quarterly) on behalf of the function to provide information on shrinkage, criminal activity, and team member risk incidents, including progress with any strategic initiatives.
- Provide oversight in the identification of cash shortages and internal transaction fraud, providing fit for purpose reporting to Security & Protection and Operations Leadership Teams.
- Engage with Group Optimisation Team to provide regular updates on progress of Risk and Protection initiatives as required.
**About You**
- Thorough understanding of Endeavour Group Finance, Inventory, and POS systems.
- Advanced skills in business reporting utilising Endeavour systems (Google Suite, Tableau etc)
- Strong commercial acumen, demonstrating a thorough understanding of P&L statements and drivers for improvement.
- Analytical approach that interprets reports and develops insights.
- Demonstrated time / task management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated lateral leadership / influencing skills across functions.
- Finance / accounting experience in a large retail organisation.
- Data / analytics experience in a significant retail or commercial business
