**We are looking for the “right attitude”**. This role supports residences and home care staff to utilise the clinical governance and quality and improvement systems and processes to support the provision of safe, effective, accountable, and person-cantered care
**Why we want you;**
- Tertiary Qualified Health Practitioner
- Qualified Assessor with the ACQSCor Undertaken an Aged Care Assessor course(Desirable)
- Post graduate qualification in relevant field
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment(Desirable)
- Experience in and passion for aged care -in either the residential or home care environments
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of quality improvement principles and implementation of robust quality systems and processes.
- Strong understanding of the accreditation standards and processes in either Residential or Home Care services
- Skilled at relationship building, business service provision and change management
- Demonstrated understanding of the nature of risk and management of risk both proactive and reactive aspects
- Demonstrated experience in developing audit processes, measurement and evaluation, as well as improving data validity and reliability
- Demonstrated experience in complaints and compliment management
- Demonstrated experience at leading improvement and change management at scale via motivation and influence
- Demonstrated experience in incident investigation, data analysis, risk identification and corrective action.
- Provision of current Police Records check
- A current driver’s license
**What your days will look like;**
- Leading accreditation processes for residences, home care and NDIS
- Supporting our managers and staff to understand the purpose of accreditation, and how it is linked to driving and achieving great care and their responsibilities in the process.
- Creating resources, evidence folders, gap analysis tools to support successful accreditation
- Ongoing review of outcomes and performance aligned with Quality Standards requirements
- Lead and implement an efficient monitoring system for ensuring the compliance requirements of accreditation
- Supporting operational staff in partnering and engaging with our consumers in the planning and delivery of safe, quality personal and clinical care
- Monitor, review, plan and control delivery of quality care, services, supports
- Promote evidenced based care for our residents and clients
- Optimise use of clinical and quality improvement systems available to our staff
- Coordinating and synthesising risk and improvement activities across the organisation
