About the role:
An amazing time to join our Global Sourcing team as we embark on an exciting growth journey

As a Product Technical & Quality Specialist you will support the technical Product development and design briefing process using market insights and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration to develop winning Private Label products.

What's involved:
- Develop and protect engineering and quality needs so that products conform to market requirements and satisfy customer expectations, functionality and intended use- Lead the engineering and quality aspects of new products and improvement of existing product range to ensure quality and compliance with all relevant requirements- Support product development projects from a technical perspective, with competence in construction, material, production, quality, and customer expectations- Liaise closely with Global Sourcing including PDM’s, Design & Trend, Private Label and Packaging teams for end-to-end consideration- Support the Quality management of key FOB and Private Label products- Support technical processes for ensuring that products, manufacturers, services, and information consistently deliver to ensure products to market are safe, fit for purpose and meeting quality requirements

Who we’re looking for:
You will be a detail oriented, outcome driven problem solver with the ability to form and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

You’ll need:
- Demonstrated industry experience in retail, consumer product manufacturing or related field- Tertiary Qualification in industrial engineering, design, or materials science- Sound knowledge of product construction, materials and finishes- Demonstrated understanding of product quality management methodologies specifically related to manufacture/design- Understanding of current ANZ product regulations and standards- International Sourcing or Product Development experience _preferred_
