Why Join New Aim
At New Aim, we're redefining ecommerce with technology, data, and innovation. Since 2005, we've grown into Australia's largest and fastest-growing private ecommerce company — delivering to more than half of Australian households and partnering with some of the nation's most-loved brands, including Amazon, eBay, Bunnings, Myer and Woolworths, etc.
Through our proprietary technology, we optimise procurement, supply chain management, multichannel integration, and pricing strategies. Our business-to-many (B2M) model and retail marketplace, Dropshipzone, empower businesses to scale online with speed and precision.
If you want to work at the intersection of ecommerce, technology, and product quality, and make a tangible impact on thousands of Australian households, New Aim is the place for you.
About the Role
As our Senior Quality Control Officer, you'll focus exclusively on
after-sales product quality
. This includes products returned to the warehouse and items flagged by the Customer Service team due to quality complaints. While our dedicated Quality Assurance team manages pre-sales and new product quality, your role ensures that once products reach customers, any issues are thoroughly investigated, root causes identified, and corrective actions implemented.
You'll work directly with suppliers in China, using your bilingual communication skills to
drive improvements, reduce faults, and help prevent future issues.
Your insights will not only resolve problems but also enhance the overall customer experience across thousands of households.
What You'll Do
- Conduct product test and analyse after-sales data, including product returns and warranty claims, to identify recurring quality issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and partner with suppliers in China to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Use bilingual communication skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers, ensuring quick resolutions and long-term improvements.
- Produce detailed monthly reports on product performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Coach suppliers to improve their processes and foster accountability in quality standards.
- Partner with Compliance, Category-Buying, and Customer Service teams to ensure product issues are addressed from every angle.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all in-house and external testing, compliance sign-offs, and risk analyses, ensuring documentation is available for reference and regulatory purposes.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in quality control, ideally with electrical or electronic products.
- Strong knowledge of Australian ISO standards and product registrations.
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Quality Control.
- Experience coaching or guiding suppliers to improve quality standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word); quick to adapt to new systems.
- Commitment to workplace safety, compliance, and environmental responsibility.
Why You'll Love Working Here
- Make a direct impact on after-sales product quality and customer trust across Australian households.
- Work with suppliers in China, building strong partnerships that shape product standards.
- Join a team that values collaboration, continuous improvement, and growth.
- Be part of a company that's redefining what's possible in ecommerce.
- A culture that values safety, teamwork, and clear communication.
The Perks:
- Free on-site parking.
- Company-funded events including monthly & quarterly celebrations, Christmas parties, and birthday celebrations.
- Regular team engagement activities and an inclusive team environment.
- Novated leasing.
