Communications Coordinator

Australian Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (API) is one of Australia's leading pharmaceutical distributors and growing health and beauty retailers. As a Wesfarmers business, API is the parent company of Priceline Pharmacy, Soul Pattinson Chemist, Pharmacist Advice and Clear Skincare Clinics. Our services include wholesale product delivery, retail services, marketing programs and business advisory services.
We are currently looking for an Internal Communications Coordinator to join the API team. The communications Coordinator will assist with executing the internal communications program, major corporate events, and the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation. Working closely with the Head of Internal Communications and Internal the Communications Manager you will be responsible for delivering engaging, accurate and timely strategic and tactical communications to API employees, as well as amplifying good news stories across the enterprise.
**The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the content plan and governance of Connect, API’s intranet
- Coordinate Face to Face and other town hall sessions
- Coordinate Lunch & Learns (includes the development and communications of a calendar of opportunities and the coordinated logistics)
- Assist with We Love Your Work program (ongoing communication & annual awards)
- Assist with annual and ad hoc ELT Roadshow management
- Support staff or franchise conference activities as needed
- Assist with media monitoring as required and undertake media monitoring satisfaction survey
- Assist with creation of presentations
- Monitor the API website and update as needed
- Participate in & take minutes for all Sisterhood meetings (Camberwell Site Committee, National Site Committee and Yearly Event Committee)
- Manage all Sisterhood Merchandise and store requests
- Implement more consistent updates to the business
- With the PR & CSR Manager, coordinate Priceline Pharmacy’s presence at charity partner events (e.g. send invitations to staff and others)
- Coordinate staff activities
- Ensure all templates, logos are current and communicated to the business
- Have impeccable attention to detail and be highly organised
- Have advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Love working alone, in a team and can manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Excellent writing and proofreading ability
- Have fantastic interpersonal skills
- Preferably 1-2 years’ experience in a Communications role
- Experience in working cross-functionally in a large organisation
**Education / Qualifications:
- Desirable: Tertiary qualification in PR, Marketing, Journalism, or related discipline
