About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ESG Analyst to join our Environment and Sustainability team at Melbourne Airport. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in taking our sustainability reporting capability to the next level and delivering quality insight and solutions to the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement digital reporting systems to enhance our sustainability performance data collection and reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support improvements and streamlining of reporting, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Analyse sustainability data to identify trends and innovations, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Review and analyse energy and water usage, climate risk, environmental assessment, asset/facilities, and financial data to inform organisational KPIs and Scorecards.
  • Work collaboratively with the digital team to enhance and develop data collection and reporting systems to drive performance.
  • Support project teams in understanding, delivery, and reporting requirements for ESG metrics.
  • Provide advice to project teams relating to sustainability performance and initiatives, and assist teams in delivering sustainability outcomes as needed.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in internal corporate sustainability.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication, project management, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders and convey sustainability concepts.
  • Experience with sustainability frameworks, certifications, and standards, such as GHG Protocol, GRI, ISSB, TCFD, and SDGs.
  • Degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, or a related field.
