We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ESG Analyst to join our Environment and Sustainability team at Melbourne Airport. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in taking our sustainability reporting capability to the next level and delivering quality insight and solutions to the business.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement ESG Reporting Frameworks: Establish and maintain robust ESG reporting frameworks to ensure accurate and timely reporting of our sustainability performance.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the Head of Finance Control and Reporting, to ensure seamless integration of ESG data into our financial reporting.
- ESG Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze ESG data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and develop actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Reporting and Communication: Develop and maintain high-quality ESG reports, including ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, and communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Process Improvement and Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement and optimize ESG data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Education: Engage with stakeholders to educate and raise awareness about ESG issues and our sustainability performance, and provide guidance on ESG best practices.
- Experience in ESG Reporting: Proven experience in developing and implementing ESG reporting frameworks and processes.
- Strong Analytical and Communication Skills: Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ESG data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders to drive ESG reporting and sustainability initiatives.
- ESG Knowledge and Certifications: Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, certifications, and standards, including GHG Protocol, GRI, ISSB, TCFD, and SDGs.
- Education and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, or a related field.
