ESG Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ESG Analyst to join our Environment and Sustainability team at Australia Pacific Airports Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in advancing our sustainability reporting capabilities and delivering high-quality insights and solutions to the business.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Sustainability Reporting Frameworks: Establish and maintain comprehensive sustainability reporting frameworks to ensure accurate and timely reporting of our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the Head of Finance Control and Reporting, to ensure seamless integration of ESG data into our financial reporting processes.
- ESG Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze and interpret ESG data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and develop actionable recommendations to inform business decisions.
- Reporting and Communication: Develop and disseminate regular ESG reports, including ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, to internal and external stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Education: Engage with stakeholders to promote sustainability awareness and provide education on ESG concepts and best practices.
- Process Improvement and Optimization: Continuously assess and improve our ESG reporting processes and systems to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and accuracy.
- Experience in ESG Reporting and Sustainability: Proven experience in developing and implementing ESG reporting frameworks, analyzing ESG data, and communicating ESG insights to stakeholders.
- Strong Analytical and Communication Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ESG concepts into actionable recommendations.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and sustainability teams, to ensure seamless integration of ESG data into our business processes.
- Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, or a related field, and relevant certifications, such as GHG Protocol, GRI, ISSB, TCFD, and SDGs.
