About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Governance and Compliance Analyst to join our team at KordaMentha. As a pivotal member of our team, you will play a key role in upholding our governance and compliance framework, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Company Secretary: Set up new entities, maintain existing entities and registers, trust deed stamping, trade mark and business name maintenance and renewals.
  • Compliance: Collate Board papers, ASIC lodgements, AFCA renewals, APRA reporting, coordinating compliance meetings, assistance with collating annual compliance audit documentation, maintain compliance control sets, real estate license management.
  • Governance: Maintain insurance summary, maintain Intellectual Property register, renewal of Intellectual Property, power of attorney set up and management.
  • Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG): Assist in maintaining ESG website and intranet, prepare quarterly updates, collate emissions data.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of prior experience in company secretarial, AFSL and compliance desirable.
  • 2+ years Professional Services or compliance background desirable.
  • Strong time management, organisational and co-ordination skills.
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge or experience of risk/compliance systems e.g. 6Clicks, Cyber GRX desirable.
  • Ability to interact in a professional manner at all times.
  • PC literate including advanced Microsoft Office 2013 (Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Ability to manage areas of responsibility and take initiative.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a busy and dynamic team.
  • Desire to take ownership of tasks assigned.
  • Flexibility, in relation to working hours, as well as being able to change priorities and tasks as required.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to adopt a 'hands on' approach.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Client service orientated.
