We are seeking a highly skilled ESG Analyst to join our Environment and Sustainability team at Australia Pacific Airports Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in taking our sustainability reporting capability to the next level and delivering quality insight and solutions to the business.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain ESG reporting requirements across the business, both internally and externally.
- Coordinate, audit, and report APAC's sustainability performance data for ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
- Support the Head of Finance Control and Reporting on mandatory financial disclosure that requires ESG inputs.
- Analyze sustainability data to identify trends and innovations, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Review and analyze energy and water usage, climate risk, environmental assessment, asset/facilities, and financial data to inform organizational KPIs and Scorecards.
- Collaborate with the digital team to enhance and develop data collection and reporting systems.
- Assist in reviewing carbon, waste, energy, water, social data to ensure data integrity.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to support improvements and streamlining of reporting.
- Collaborate with projects and business units on ESG metrics.
- Support projects in understanding, delivery, and reporting requirements for ESG metrics.
- Report ESG metrics, aggregating data to set and track progress against APAC KPIs and targets.
- Uphold and support project team adherence to minimum standards and sustainability processes.
- Provide advice to project teams relating to sustainability performance and initiatives, and assist teams in delivering sustainability outcomes as needed.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach to sustainability through the provision of value-add sustainability advice to the business.
- Promote sustainability awareness initiatives across the business.
- Experience in implementing digital reporting systems.
- Solid understanding of environmental sustainability issues related to infrastructure or asset management.
- Experience in internal corporate sustainability roles desired.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication, project management, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to engage stakeholders and convey sustainability concepts.
- Experience with sustainability frameworks, certifications, and standards, such as GHG Protocol, GRI, ISSB, TCFD, and SDGs desired.
- Degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, or a related field.
