Job Description: As a Senior Event Coordinator at the Committee for Adelaide, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-profile events and programs, including SA Zero, Adelaide Connected, Insights Series and Emerging Leaders Series. You will be responsible for coordinating event logistics, managing RSVPs, preparing materials and ensuring seamless execution of events.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning: Assist in planning and coordinating large-scale events, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual equipment, and theming.
  • Communication: Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage with attendees, stakeholders and sponsors.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Member Engagement and Events Manager and Strategy & Projects Manager to ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of event data, including attendee lists, RSVPs, and sponsorship details.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, managing diaries, and preparing reports.

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Event Management Experience: Proven experience in event coordination and management, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team, with a focus on achieving shared goals and objectives.

What We Offer: In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus generous benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Location: This role is based in Adelaide, South Australia, with the opportunity to work from home one day per week.
