About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Event Programming Manager to join our team at the Adelaide Festival Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented professional to work on delivering one of Australia's premier cultural events, the Adelaide Cabaret Festival.

Job Description

This role will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining schedules, systems and operating procedures to ensure the effective delivery of the festival. You will create and maintain databases, artist itineraries, artist rehearsal schedules and travel arrangements, ensuring seamless execution of the event. Additionally, you will contribute to the delivery of the Class of Cabaret program, a SACE accredited program for high school students with performance outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated experience working in a festival or major event environment, possess sound project coordination skills, be able to communicate effectively, and be extremely organized. Previous experience liaising with artists, companies and agents will be highly regarded.

You will be a key member of our team, working closely with the Head of Programming – Commercial to ensure the successful delivery of the festival. Your excellent time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines will be crucial in achieving this goal.

Requirements

The salary for this role is $65,579 per year. We offer a range of benefits to our employees, including salary packaging and staff price tickets to shows, festivals and productions.
