About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused individual to join our team on a rotational basis between our Head Office and branch. This is a casual role, working Monday - Friday with 2-3 shifts per week (around 8-16 hours). Availability across Tuesday-Thursday is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data entry of auction bids into our Live Online Auctions system
  • Providing timely information to an auctioneer by phone during Auctions, clear confident speaking voice required.
  • Auctions are held in real-time; high attention to detail, accuracy and quick thinking essential
  • General administrative duties associated with the auction process
  • Responding to customer and vendor enquiries politely, promptly and accurately
  • Liaising effectively with relevant employees regarding auction bidding
  • Flexibility in a casual role, with potential for training in other administrative duties

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:

  • A positive, professional and engaging phone manner
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Reasonably fast typing skills (70 - 80 words per minute)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven interpersonal & client relationship skills
  • Competent computer skills (MS Outlook, Word & Excel)
  • Efficient, organised and able to prioritise competing deadlines
