Slattery Auctions is Australia's largest family-owned auction and valuation company, operating nationally since 2000. With eight sites across the country, we specialise in asset advisory and disposal services across sectors including automotive, transport, mining, and aviation. Our expert team delivers trusted results through a flexible, transparent, and client-focused approach.

Our site situated in Milperra/Sydney NSW is looking for a team member who can help us support our yard operation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Auction Yardhands are responsible for organising and preparing all trucks, machinery, cars and general goods in the yard for auction.

This is a permanent, full-time role working Monday to Friday, 8:30am till 5:00pm (incl. 1 hour lunch break), no weekends.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Loading and unloading of stock
  • Photographing and booking in cars, trucks, machinery and general goods
  • Arranging yard to accommodate assets
  • Lotting all assets for vehicle and general auction
  • Onsite cataloguing and asset inspections
  • Organising dispatch with the Auctions team on all sold goods
ABOUT YOU

As our successful candidate, you will have:

  • Current manual driver's license - essential
  • Ability to follow a process and carry out work in an independent manner as well as work with others co-operatively
  • Sound knowledge of trucks, machinery, cars and plant is desirable
  • Basic computer skills
  • WHS awareness, knowledge and commitment
  • Forklift and/or HC licence is highly desirable
  • No criminal record - successful candidate will need to undergo National Police check
