Onsite Auction Coordinator Role

The primary function of this position is to oversee the coordination of onsite auctions, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing stock and deliveries for customer sites, accurately entering items into our system and uploading them to the website;">
  • Ensure all assets are ready for sale and in the correct location, coordinating auctions with precision;">
  • Provide outstanding customer service to vendors and buyers throughout the auction process;">
  • Conduct thorough catalogue checks to ensure accurate advertising of assets;">
  • Complete pre-auction lotting processes to guarantee a smooth sale flow;">
  • Travel frequently to customer sites throughout NSW as required;">
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors through regular communication regarding reserves, valuations, releases, referrals, and marketing options;">
  • Liaise with site managers and external stakeholders as needed;">
  • Prepare sale premises to comply with WHS requirements before each sale;">
  • Review stock reports and efficiently move assets through the department while meeting vendor requirements;">
  • Oversee asset preparation processes to prevent slow-moving stock and provide proactive solutions to vendors;">
  • Complete daily WHS checks;">
  • Assist the Pickles valuations team with asset inspections for clients;">
  • Unload goods arriving at the facility and load purchased goods onto transport after auction;">

To excel in this role, you will need:

">

- A valid Australian drivers' licence and forklift licence;

">

- Experience working with heavy machinery, plant equipment, or relevant trade certification (advantageous);

">

- Sales or valuations experience (preferred);

">

- The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing situations;

">

- Willingness to travel to customer sites throughout NSW to undertake your duties;

">

- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evening shifts;

">

- Exceptional customer service skills and capacity to build lasting relationships;

">

- High-level interpersonal skills and proven experience building client relationships;

">

- Ability to learn and utilize new systems and databases;

">

- Strong time management skills and autonomy to work independently;

">

- Clear and effective communication skills;

">

- Attention to detail;

">

- Truck licence (desired).
