About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at The Star Sydney. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for leading a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train a team of food and beverage staff to ensure high standards of service and quality.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate cash handling procedures and ensure compliance with financial targets.
  • Assist the Venue Manager in achieving operational and financial objectives.
  • Ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace and coordinate maintenance and upkeep of equipment and materials.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of food and service to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Coordinate daily shift briefings and ensure a smooth transition and handover between shifts.
Requirements
  • Supervisory experience in a similar busy hospitality environment, including a thorough knowledge of food and beverages.
  • Exceptional guest service skills with a proactive attitude and natural ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests.
  • Highly organized and eager, with a high attention to detail.
  • Flexible availability to meet the venue operating hours.
  • Current NSW RSA card.
