Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Operations Manager to join our team at Club Med. As a key member of our resort's management team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating the operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and related services.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and control the operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring high-quality service and exceptional customer experience.
- Manage and develop sales of fine dining and wine, as well as other food and beverage services.
- Assess and improve areas of weakness in service activities, ensuring that quality standards are consistently met.
- Monitor and provide accurate forecasts for labor to business ratio, and approve and monitor overtime labor costs.
- Ensure that all food and beverage service areas meet standards for cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
- Establish and maintain standards of operations (SOP) manual related to the village specificity.
- Monitor food quality and provide feedback to the kitchen team.
- Plan, create, and deliver innovative and practical setups for food and beverage service areas.
- Solicit and review guest and group feedback on quality of products and service provided.
- Ensure that F&B service staff are well-groomed and presentable at all service periods.
- Ensure that established control procedures are always followed.
- Maintain positive labor relations and social environment, ensuring that all F&B complaints are dealt with according to established HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure safety and hygiene standards are maintained to minimize work-related accidents, illnesses, and injuries.
- Promote preventive maintenance and ensure timely repair of all fixtures, furnishings, and operating equipment.
- Review and recommend the procurement of furniture, fixtures, and operating equipment according to the company's procurement policies.
- Plan events and promotional activities to ensure the full utilization of all food and beverage services by guests.
- Participate in all GOs activities and events of the village whenever possible and maintain a high level of contact and interaction with guests of the village.
- Perform related F&B projects and duties as and when required or assigned by the Head of Resort.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of managerial experience in food and beverage service, preferably in deluxe, 5-star hotels or restaurants.
- Diploma or higher in hotel or F&B management.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, with knowledge of other international languages highly desirable.
- Well-groomed and presentable, with strong leadership skills, good interaction skills, and a fun-loving personality.
Compensation Package
Seasonal contract with compensation package including room and board, utilities, basic medical insurance, uniforms, training, usage of all resorts' sports facilities, and other advantages connected with our Club Med group.
