Occupational Therapist Role

This is a full-time occupational therapist position based in the Far North Coast area.

As an occupational therapist, you will provide comprehensive functional assessments and establish goals for each client to assist them in achieving their desired outcomes.

  • Conduct home visits and community assessments as required.
  • Coordinate the delivery of occupational therapy services to assess, diagnose, and treat children and adults with developmental challenges.
  • Assist clients in achieving their goals through therapy services, planning home modifications, and prescription of assistive technology.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive functional assessments and develop individualized plans to meet client needs.
  2. Collaborate with practitioners and clients to contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring, and review of client plans.
  3. Provide education and support to clients and their families on occupational therapy principles and practices.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience in applying evidence-based practice frameworks to assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate clinical supports.
  • Effective time management skills to ensure meeting client goals and performance expectations.
  • Current driver's license.
