Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

About the Role:

  • Maximize your expertise in occupational rehabilitation to identify new return-to-work opportunities.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with employers seeking return-to-work support for their organizations.
  • Provide case management for injured workers who require physical and/or psychological support to facilitate their return to employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking a holistic approach, establish key relationships with health professionals and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehabilitation to healing.
  • Perform a variety of assessments based on your area of clinical expertise.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including the injured employee, employer, medical specialists, and other allied health professionals to develop, implement, and monitor rehabilitation plans.

Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted (or eligibility for) registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA).
  • Occupational rehabilitation experience.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or Nursing.
