Job Overview

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in a full-time role based on the Far North Coast. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from adults to children with physical or intellectual disabilities.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive occupational therapy services, conducting assessments, establishing goals, and implementing interventions to support clients in achieving their objectives. You will work collaboratively with Practitioners and clients to contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring, and review of client plans.

About the Role
  • Conduct home visits and community visits as required to assess and support clients in their homes and community settings.
  • Coordinate the delivery of occupational therapy services, assessing, diagnosing, and treating children and adults with developmental challenges.
  • Assist each client in achieving their goals through therapy services, planning home modifications, and prescribing assistive technology.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Possession of evidence-based practice frameworks to assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate clinical supports.
  • Effective time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks and meeting performance expectations.
  • A current driver's license is required for pool car travel.
