Senior Leader, Risk Assurance

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Leader to join our team and drive the development of a comprehensive risk assurance framework.

This key role offers the opportunity to shape and deliver best practice across all material risk classes, developing strategies to strengthen regulatory compliance and risk management.

The successful candidate will have ten years' experience in internal audit or risk assurance, with applied knowledge of assurance practices and risk profiling.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and embedding a robust risk assurance framework
  • Leading and mentoring a high-performing team of senior risk assurance specialists
  • Delivering an annual risk-based assurance plan covering financial and non-financial risks
  • Coaching team members in assurance methodologies
  • Reporting insights and recommendations to senior management and board committees

A strong background in assurance functions, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management abilities, is essential for success in this role.
