Leadership Opportunity: Senior Human Resources Strategist

This is a rare opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a senior role that sets the standard for excellence in human resources, organisational development and workplace health and safety.

The Chief People Officer will serve as the strategic steward of our people. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Actively promote and demonstrate a commitment to safe work practices.
  2. Develop and execute a forward-thinking global people strategy aligned with business goals.
  3. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to unlock synergies and improve organisational effectiveness.
  4. Lead the design and delivery of strategic learning and development initiatives that support workforce requirements and operational readiness.
  5. Foster a values-driven culture that inspires high performance and belonging across all levels of the group.
  6. Develop strategies to drive diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging with measurable outcomes and clear accountability.
  7. Establish governance frameworks to ensure consistency, risk management and continuous improvement in HR policies and practices.

About you:

  • You are a collegiate leader with executive-level experience in Human Resources, Organisational Development and Workforce Planning.
  • You have proven experience leading people strategy within a national and/or global organisation, preferably from within engineering or manufacturing domains.
  • You possess acute business acumen, pragmatism and a commercial mindset.
  • You have a strong leadership presence with the ability to influence at executive and board level and align cross-functional teams around shared goals.
  • You hold relevant tertiary qualifications.
