We are seeking a skilled Liquidity Strategist to join our team. As a Liquidity Strategist, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day measurement, analysis, and reporting of the bank's liquidity position and meeting regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and enhancing quantitative liquidity modelling infrastructure to maximise benefits for all areas of the bank
  • Conducting data analysis and mining of liquidity data to provide actionable insights
  • Supporting other team functions including system architecture and design, data within systems, and data extraction and utilisation

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Banking and Finance, Commerce, Risk Management, Information Technology, or a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics, or Actuarial Science (preferred)
  • 2-3 years of relevant banking experience with a focus on liquidity management
  • Proficiency in coding languages R and/or SQL advantageous
  • Highly skilled Microsoft Excel user with experience in building complex formulas and multi-sheet/multi-workbook reporting frameworks
  • Knowledge of Power BI highly regarded
