Job Description:

This hands-on role demands expertise in developing, implementing, and maintaining robust security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with business objectives. You will work closely with technical leadership to ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and the Australian Privacy Act.

Key responsibilities include performing comprehensive security risk assessments, coordinating third-party penetration testing engagements, managing vulnerability assessments, and ensuring timely remediation. Additionally, you will monitor security controls, logs, and alerts, escalating and responding as needed.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in a security analyst or equivalent role within a SaaS or cloud-first environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise with ISO 27001 or similar information security management systems.
  • Strong understanding of GDPR, HIPAA, and the Australian Privacy Act and practical implementation requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or CEH.
  • Experience in infrastructure security, cloud security best practices (AWS or Azure), and endpoint security.
Collaboration & Communication:
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with engineering, operations, and executive teams.
