Head Chef Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced culinary professional to lead our catering team in delivering high-quality meals to patients, staff, and visitors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the safe provision of food as per documented food safety protocols.

  • Ensure adherence to food safety standards and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to food service staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Demonstrate expertise in commercial cooking, menu planning, and inventory management.
  • Lead by example in a professional, considerate, and pleasant demeanor to all stakeholders.
  • Serve as a role model to peers and maintain positive staff morale through effective teamwork.

Key Qualifications:

  • Commercial Cooking certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum certificate level qualifications in management.
  • Substantial experience in commercial volume cooking and fine dining.
  • Must be proactive, flexible, lateral, creative, and dynamic.
  • Exemplary customer service skills.

About This Role:

This is a permanent part-time opportunity working Tuesday and Wednesday. The role reports to the Support Services Manager.
