We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our Culinary Team as a Junior Sous Chef in Sydney.

This is an extraordinary opportunity for you to progress your career and develop your skills under the mentorship of some of the best chefs in the city.

  • Responsibilities include supervising a section of the kitchen, training staff at lower levels, coaching and guiding employees to perform kitchen operations, handling and following up on all incidents immediately, and reporting accurately.
Requirements
  • Solid experience Demi Chef/Chef de Partie and relevant tertiary qualifications, such as Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
  • Experience working in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong understanding of produce, culinary techniques, and kitchen equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to commit to 40 hours per week working varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
