Job Title:

Compensation and Benefits Manager

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end compensation and benefits processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the calculation, approval, and release of all pays and other disbursements
  • Monitor and reconcile payroll deductions, including employee benefits and salary packaging, superannuation contributions, garnishee, child support etc.
  • Maintain high levels of payroll information integrity, data governance, and confidentiality
  • Provide expertise and liaison on various business initiatives and projects
Team Leadership:

The successful candidate will manage a team of five, including one Supervisor and four Officers, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure the effective delivery of compensation and benefits services.

Requirements:
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent residency is essential
  • Relevant professional qualification (Degree or Certificate plus relevant organisation membership)
  • Extensive experience in managing payroll in a large, multi-location environment with a complex Enterprise Agreement
  • Strong people leadership skills, managing conflicting priorities and communicating with staff across the organisation
