Job Title: Compensation and Benefits Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our vibrant Finance Team in Melbourne. You will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Chief HR Manager, taking responsibility for all aspects of payroll processing, reporting, and compliance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payment of wages.
  • Manage Superannuation, Workers Compensation, and Tax calculations, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Handle terminations and redundancies according to legal and company policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing payroll queries and concerns.
  • Monitor and manage the payroll query inbox, delivering prompt and accurate responses.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer on additional duties as required.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in payroll management, demonstrating a strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance.
  • Familiarity with Australian and New Zealand payroll environments, including relevant legislation.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills, able to derive insights from payroll data.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, offering suggestions for process improvements.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, taking initiative to meet deadlines and deliver accurate results.
  • Prior experience in payroll projects or implementation is desirable, showcasing adaptability to new systems.
