Patient Accounts Manager

Cabrini Health Limited is seeking an experienced Patient Accounts Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Patient Accounts department, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of patient accounts, and managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a highly trained, motivated, and efficient team with a strong customer focus.
- Account Processing: Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all accounts and their subsequent payment and follow-up for Medical Imaging, Patient Portion, and Emergency Department.
- Receipting and Banking: Ensure the accurate and timely processing of receipting, reconciliation of banking, and refunds.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Process Improvement: Advocate a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring systems and processes are automated and modernized.
- Experience: At least 3 years' experience in a hospital accounts department or similar setting.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership experience managing a team.
- Accounting Knowledge: A thorough understanding of and experience overseeing the processing of high-volume patient accounts/accounts receivable environment within a complex, multi-site organization.
- Debt Management: Skills and knowledge in debt management and collection processes.
- Compliance: Prior experience in managing compliance and audits.
- Medicare and Health Fund Agreements: A clear understanding of Medicare and Health Fund agreements in relation to billing.
- Computer Skills: Proven computer skills, including a high degree of competence with Microsoft Office suite and reporting software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills: Experience with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
