Our Mission

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you'll be responsible for leading our finance team and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Month-end close-off and associated processes
  • Managing and leading a team of finance professionals to ensure timely completion of responsibilities, coaching, and development
  • Year-end preparation, including tax effect accounting and statutory accounts
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
  • Regulatory reporting
  • Monitoring control frameworks within the finance department and group
  • Continuous process improvement

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualified and CPA/CA qualification
  • Previous experience in a chartered accounting firm or large corporate
  • Recent retail experience is preferred and would be highly advantageous in this role
  • Strong experience in statutory reporting, tax effect accounting; exposure to FBT and GST
  • High level of IT literacy, including advanced Excel and familiarity with business intelligence and finance general ledger systems
  • Experience working/managing/reporting with large data sets
  • Experience with process improvement projects, automation of financial processes
  • Experience managing a team
