Position Overview

We are in search of a qualified Healthcare Reception Specialist to support our cardiology practice. This role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth patient experience and efficient administrative operations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage front desk operations and provide a welcoming environment for patients.
  • Assist patients with inquiries and direct them appropriately.
  • Handle telephone communications, including receiving and directing calls.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to patient care and information management.
  • Utilize medical software for processing patient information effectively.
  • Facilitate payment collection and processing.
  • Oversee billing and batching, including Medicare Online and DVA claims.
  • Send reports using designated medical software.
  • Coordinate Holter monitoring for patients.
Required Skills
  • Proven experience in a medical receptionist or administrative role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
  • Proficiency in Zedmed software is essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small team as well as independently.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
