Cabrini Health Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Accounts Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Patient Accounts Department, you will be responsible for billing and debtor follow-up from health funds, DVA, and third parties for services provided at Cabrini.
Key Responsibilities- Raise claims/accounts (billing) in accordance with relevant contracts and ensure compliance with legislation requirements.
- Ensure all relevant documentation is completed and accurate, and follow up on unprocessed claims, resubmissions, and audit cases.
- Develop and maintain clear lines of communication between the Patient Accounts Department and other Cabrini departments.
- Provide a high standard of care to all stakeholders and ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Previous experience in a private healthcare, medical environment, or health insurance industry.
- Confidence in billing inpatient claims and experience with WebPas and Eclipse, other health fund and third-party portals.
- High attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and a professional attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
