Job Description: Customer Service ExecutiveThis role involves overseeing customer service operations for our Air & Ocean division in South Australia. The successful candidate will ensure excellent service delivery to clients across all interactions, maintain smooth departmental functions, and manage client relationships.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure customers' details are up-to-date, including contact information, billing addresses, and financial status.
- Liaise with management and sales teams on accounts approaching or exceeding agreed terms.
- Keep customers informed about shipment schedules, arrival dates, and delivery status throughout the international supply chain process.
- Conduct order follow-ups, maintain order reports, and implement client SOPs as directed by management.
- Provide quotes to customers and overseas offices at profitable levels.
- Handle customer rate queries and shipment inquiries.
- Develop new business opportunities from existing clients at profitable levels.
- Liaise with overseas offices to obtain best possible rates and services.
- Ensure all overseas communications related to the Customer Service department are responded to daily.
- Promote and develop all facets of CEVA's services, including import, export, and added-value services.
- Protect and present CEVA's interests professionally, in line with company policies.
- Liaise with operational and warehouse staff to meet client requirements.
We seek an experienced freight forwarding professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated ability to engage with various stakeholders and internal business partners, achieve objectives, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in managing freight forwarding customers and engaging with external or third-party contacts.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and internal business partners.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills.
In addition to a competitive base salary of $90,000-$95,000, we offer a range of employee benefits designed to support your wellbeing and help you thrive at work and in life.
