We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Ambassador at our Darwin Tourist Facility.

The Royal Flying Doctor Service South Australia & Northern Territory (RFDS SA/NT) is a leading provider of aeromedical and primary health care services to people in remote, rural, and regional locations across South Australia and the Northern Territory.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences to visitors, ensuring a welcoming and informative environment. This includes hosting tourist groups, facilitating school visits and educational events, managing bookings, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors;
  • Host and facilitate tourist groups through the facility, ensuring a memorable experience;
  • Manage advanced bookings with a focus on quality customer service;
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the facility;
  • Assist with stock control, pricing, and displaying merchandise, as well as completing point of sale transactions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A bright and enthusiastic personality, with excellent communication skills;
  • Previous retail sales and point of sale/cash handling experience;
  • Exceptional customer service and organizational skills, with a high level of integrity, punctuality, and reliability;
  • Flexibility to work a roster Monday to Sunday, with varying hours between 8:45AM– 5:15PM (weekend work and public holiday work may be required).
