About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently, participate in their local community, and engage in meaningful opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including menu planning, cooking, and cleaning
- Support clients with personal care needs and medication
- Deliver person-centred programs to support clients to live an active lifestyle and participate in their community
- Work to behaviour support plans using positive behaviour strategies
- Communicate with families about clients' progress
We are looking for a passionate and energetic individual who is committed to making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities. You will be a positive and supportive team player, with a flair for creativity and a willingness to learn and grow.
Requirements- Experience in the disability sector
- Ability to support others with personal and hygiene care
- Personal qualities of resilience, empathy, and self-confidence
- High levels of enthusiasm, initiative, and a positive attitude
- Current NSW driver's license and vehicle
