About the Role
As a Support Worker within our shared living team, you will play a vital role in supporting and empowering people with disability to live a life of their choosing. You will work in a team environment and independently, providing a range of services to assist clients to live independently, be actively involved in their local community, and engaged in meaningful opportunities.

This is a permanent part-time position, working in-house located in Terrey Hills. Shifts will include early morning (6am start), days, afternoons, weekends, and a wake-over shift. Flexibility to work a minimum of 4 x early shifts a week is a must.

Key Focus
Supporting our clients to live as independently as possible by assisting with activities of daily living, including menu planning, cooking, and cleaning. Supports may include personal care needs and assistance with medication. Supporting clients to live an active lifestyle and participate in their community through the delivery of a range of person-centred programs. Work to behaviour support plans by utilising positive behaviour strategies. Communication with families about clients' progress.

About You
You are passionate about making a difference. As a positive and energetic person, you want to contribute and provide exceptional support to our clients. You want to be part of a fun and dynamic environment, so teamwork is something you love. You have a flair for creativity, whilst also being organised. You will demonstrate the ability to engage, communicate, and build partnerships with people.

Experience in the Disability sector is essential. Ability to support others with personal and hygiene care and happy for this to be part of your job. Personal qualities of resilience, empathy, and self-confidence. High levels of enthusiasm, initiative, and a positive attitude while acting with integrity, honesty, and respect. You must have a driver's license and vehicle.
