Cerebral Palsy Alliance is a leader in providing support services for individuals with disabilities. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Disability Support Practitioner to join our team in Currong.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a positive difference in the lives of our clients. As a Disability Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting clients to develop and maintain independence, and advocating for their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering personalised support to clients, including assistance with mealtimes, personal care, and administering medication.
- Transporting clients in our wheelchair-accessible vans and pool cars.
- Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress.
- Working collaboratively with the team to ensure the highest level of care and support for our clients.
Requirements
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs of our unique customers.
- Flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts, as well as weekend and public holiday shifts.
- Experience supporting customers with intellectual disability, high physical support needs, and medical/health needs.
- A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum).
- Local to the North Shore.
