About the Role

Cerebral Palsy Alliance is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Practitioner to join our team in Currong. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to develop and maintain independence, while advocating for their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and manual handling using specialized equipment.
  • Transport clients in our wheelchair-accessible vans and pool cars, ensuring safe and comfortable travel.
  • Monitor clients' well-being and report on their progress, providing valuable insights to inform care plans.
  • Collaborate with our dynamic team to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for clients.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs of our unique customers.
  • Flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts, as well as weekend and public holiday shifts.
  • Experience supporting customers with intellectual disability, high physical support needs, and medical/health needs.
  • A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum).
  • Local to the North Shore.
