Job Overview:

A seasoned capture management professional is sought to lead our Test and Evaluation (T&E) efforts in Australia. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in executing major captures, preferably with formal training in recognised best practice.

This role offers the opportunity to shape customer thinking and develop a compelling customer proposition, drawing from the UK's experience in T&E across all domains, including Guided Weapons, Submarine and Surface Fleet.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and approve Capture Strategies, including business development investments, to maximise competitive advantage and align with customer mission outcomes.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships to drive long-term outcomes, in-year orders, and order intake pipeline growth.
  • Lead direct and virtual teams to deliver timely and successful results.
  • Influence customer requirements, procurement strategies, and acquisition approaches to align with company capabilities and strategic objectives.
  • Deliver order intake and order intake pipeline growth in accordance with campaign objectives, focusing on short- and long-term goals, sustainable revenue, and profit.
  • Secure a substantial and leading role for QinetiQ in T&E in Australia.
Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in executing major captures in a competitive terrain, preferably with formal training in recognised best practice.
  • Background in major captures in the Maritime Domain.
  • Proven ability to lead teams of senior professionals spanning business and functional boundaries.
  • Deep customer domain knowledge and relationships, with the ability to provide thought leadership to customers in complex domains and develop compelling propositions.
