As a Personal Support Worker at Spinal Life Australia, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily living activities. Our team provides flexible shifts, including weekends, active overnights, and sleepover shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists as needed.
  • Provide personal care such as grooming, bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toileting, and bladder and bowel management.
  • Perform basic wound care and assist with self-medication.
  • Support with domestic tasks like meal preparation, light household chores, and laundry.
  • Facilitate community access, including driving clients to appointments and social events.
What We're Looking For

We seek dedicated individuals who are passionate about helping others live independently. Ideal candidates will be empathetic, positive, and able to communicate effectively with clients.

Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Smartphone device.
  • Current NDIS Workers Screening Card (Yellow Card) and/or Working with Children Check (Blue Card), or willingness to obtain.
  • Completion or willingness to complete the NDIS Workers Orientation Module.
  • Flexibility to work a fixed fortnightly roster with varying shift times.
