About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Spinal Life Australia. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting our clients with their daily activities, promoting their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with transfers, including moving in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists when necessary.
  • Provide personal care, including grooming, bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toileting, and bladder and bowel management.
  • Administer basic wound care and assist with self-medication.
  • Perform domestic assistance, including preparing meals, light household duties, and managing laundry.
  • Drive clients to appointments and social events.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Smartphone device.
  • Current NDIS Workers Screening Card (Yellow Card) and/or Working with Children Check (Blue Card), or willingness to obtain.
  • Completion of the NDIS Workers Orientation Module, or willingness to complete.
  • Flexibility to adhere to a fixed fortnightly roster with varying shift times.
