During your shifts, you will:

  • Assist clients with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists when required.
  • Provide personal care, including grooming, bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toileting, bladder, and bowel management.
  • Offer basic wound care and self-medication.
  • Provide domestic support, such as meal preparation, light household duties, and laundry.
  • Accompany clients to community activities and appointments.
About You

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about caring for and supporting people to live independently in their own homes. You will be someone who has an empathetic nature, a positive attitude, and can communicate honestly and effectively with clients.

You will treat others with dignity, respect, and without judgment and be able to work independently.

Experience is not required for this role, as we provide extensive training through our Registered Nurses and Key Support Workers.

Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
  • A smartphone device.
  • A current NDIS Workers Screening Card (Yellow Card) and/or a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), or willingness to obtain.
  • Completion of the NDIS Workers Orientation Module, or willingness to complete.
  • Flexibility to work a fixed fortnightly roster with varying shift times.
