About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Spinal Life Australia. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with daily living activities, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with transfers, personal care, and domestic support, promoting their dignity and well-being.
  • Provide comprehensive support with daily living activities, including meal preparation, light household duties, and laundry.
  • Accompany clients on community outings, such as appointments and social activities, promoting social interaction and engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Requirements
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • A smartphone device for communication and documentation.
  • A current NDIS Workers Screening Card (Yellow Card) and/or a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), or willingness to obtain.
  • Completion of the NDIS Workers Orientation Module, or willingness to complete.
  • Flexibility to work a fixed fortnightly roster with varying shift times.
