The Law Society of Western Australia is seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Dean, Faculty of Law. This esteemed position offers a unique opportunity to provide strategic leadership, academic direction, and community engagement for one of Canada's most innovative law schools.



Key Responsibilities


  • Providing strategic leadership and academic direction to the Faculty of Law
  • Developing and implementing a vision for the Faculty's academic programs and research initiatives
  • Fostering a culture of community engagement and collaboration among faculty, staff, and students
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of fund development strategies
  • Providing administrative oversight and leadership to the Faculty's administrative team


Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record of strategic vision and implementation. A Ph.D. in Law or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership or academic role.
