Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic Psychiatrist to join our team at the University of Wollongong. As a Senior Lecturer in Psychiatry, you will be responsible for teaching and assessing medical students in our ISLHD (Wollongong and Shellharbour) Hospital facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing expert clinical supervision and teaching to medical students
  • Assessing student performance and providing feedback
  • Developing and implementing teaching programs and engaging academic staff to support teaching
  • Building relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
Requirements
  • Current or anticipated appointment as an Advanced Trainee/consultant psychiatrist with Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District
  • Qualifications and experience in teaching and clinical supervision
