
Cloud Partnership Development Specialist

Detailed knowledge of IT infrastructure sales is essential to excel in this role. Experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) or Software as a Service (SaaS) is a must. A strong understanding of channel partner requirements and the ability to identify potential business opportunities that can be capitalized upon using AWS services is also required.
A self-motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and excellent collaboration skills is ideal for this position. Background in B2B marketing tools such as Marketo or similar is beneficial, as well as presentation experience positioning solutions to partners relevant to their industry or target market.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a world-class partnership manager to join our Strategic Alliances team and drive the adoption of AWS cloud computing services worldwide via partner solutions. As a Partner Manager for Technology Alliances, you will lead the partnership go-to-market engagement across Global Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partners in the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) region.
Main Responsibilities- Initiate and execute a large number of partner enablement and go-to-market requests effectively.
- Manage and assist Partner Sales and Field Sales to jointly close customer opportunities developed with GISV partners.
- Identify, enable and qualify high-value GISV partners and implementation partners that drive revenue and deliver best-in-class solutions on AWS customers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop partner strategies and processes.
- Utilize CRM systems, data warehousing and analytic tools to establish detailed metrics and processes.
- Be the 'Go To' resource to ensure key joint sales opportunities are sourced, developed and closed.
- Lead regular pipeline reviews to ensure pipeline information is thorough and accurate according to AWS' sales cycle stages.
