The Role

This part-time, fixed-term opportunity until the end of the year is ideal for a highly capable and personable administration professional seeking a positive work-life balance at our Wheelers Hill Campus. Working flexibly across four days a week (mandatory days are Wednesday and Friday), you will be a key member of our Music, Theatre & Visual Arts team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to achieve strong and quality results in all aspects of the campus music operation.
  • Contribute to administrative initiatives with a focus on best practice, efficiency, and delivering creative solutions.
  • Maintain accurate databases related to student and staff information in the Music/Theatre/Visual Arts space.
  • Offer secretarial and administrative support to Leaders of Music in both Junior and Senior school, as well as support Theatre in productions.
  • Serve as a contact person for private instrumental students and their families, including teachers and instrumental music tutors teaching private tuition.
  • Generate reports to support the administration of classroom instrumental programs and private tuition.
  • Assist in fostering a vibrant learning culture that strives for continuous improvement and ensures quality learning for both staff and students.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated strong customer service focus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient computer skills with a willingness to learn new systems.
  • Significant administration experience within an educational setting (desired).
  • Holds or willing to obtain an Employment Working With Children Check.
